Style Magazines - now better than ever!

Widely acknowledged as one of Queensland's most successful monthly lifestyle magazines, Style continues to innovate and reinvent itself to achieve cut-through and relevance in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

As of its July 2010 issue, Style has adopted a new look, new distribution mechanism, and now delivers even more unique, localised content across an integrated print and online platform.

Style now features thicker, full-gloss stock (72GSM) in several key sections – as well as a 150GSM cover with UV varnish – ensuring long-term durability for readers, and a further enhancement of selected advertisements. Style has also significantly resized its pages to make the popular magazine easier to read, and more portable – a must-have for readers. Its new page dimensions are 255mm high x 220mm wide (trim).

Style has also revised its distribution area to ensure that its valuable advertisers are guaranteed targeted reach into the affluent inner city suburbs of Brisbane, and the Gold Coast. Its new distribution is 110,000 copies per month – 60,000 into Brisbane's inner city fringe, and 50,000 across the Gold Coast. One-half of the Brisbane copies are bagged and home-delivered, to ensure that targeted households receive their copies in premium condition. The remaining copies are delivered to strategic outlets including boutiques, cafés, restaurants and carefully selected businesses with high traffic flow – and the right kind of traffic.

Not only does Style showcase its unique, localised content in a vibrant, monthly print edition, but stylemagazines.com.au has been relaunched – it is now an exciting, interactive hub that delivers all Style, all the time. The new Style website has been carefully designed to keep readers coming back, while increasing involvement with the brand and integrating social media tools like Facebook. In addition to sharing Style updates with their Facebook friends, readers can now also register for the Style A-List, which gains them exclusive access to competitions, special offers, pre-sale notifications and newsletter updates. The new Style website features the hottest updates in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, dining and local events, as well as blogs, competitions, and a full gallery of social photos snapped locally. For increased advertiser cut-through, print and online advertising packages are available.

With an increased emphasis on delivering truly local content, Style now features even more fashion, more local events, and more down-to-earth stories about ordinary local people doing extraordinary things.
