Community Daily Newspaper of the Year and more wins at PANPA 2015

The Gympie Times went back to back to claim the title as Best Community Daily Newspaper for the second year in succession at the PANPA Newspaper of the Year awards held in Sydney, last night.  Craig Warhurst gave a touching, from-the-heart- speech that won over the crowd.  Other APN Australian Regional media winners on the night included:

BEST FEATURES AND LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER

  • Adam Hourigan - "Fields of Fire", The Daily Examiner

PRINT CENTRE OF THE YEAR

  • Yandina Print Centre

Special mention must go to Lismore photogrpaher, Marc Stapelberg, who was a finalist in three categories and unfortunately missed an award.  He was highly commended twice on the evening and the standard of his work, and that he was competing against, was a sight to behold on the big screen.

This is again proof of the consistent excellence shown by APN Australian Regional Media teams.  Congratulations to all.
