Latest ABC circulation results

The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) has released the latest quarterly data showing that APN ARM remains the largest regional daily newspaper publisher in Australia, accounting for 35.8% of all regional daily newspapers sold.

Despite the tough trading conditions, APN ARM grew market share by 1.9% in the Australian regional daily newspaper market and also increased market share within Queensland to now account for over 56% of all regional daily newspapers sold in the state.

Along with the strong results for print circulation, APN ARM had also maintained audience across multiple platforms, in line with consumers preference to consume news across different types of media. Across all assets, APN ARM engages with 1.1 million people every week, the same figure as weekly readership in 2007 (pre-GFC).
